I want more energy!
Why We Don’t Have Energy (and What to Do About It)1. WHAT — Why Are We So Tired?
Many people today — especially women and men in mid-life — feel like they're running on empty. We’re told to "eat less, exercise more, push through" — but what if that advice is outdated?
What if low energy isn’t just about age, but about what we’re putting into (or not putting into) our bodies — and how we think about ourselves?
2. WHY — What’s Really Going On?
Here’s what I’ve learned from my own journey and ongoing research:
💡 Vitamin D (and nutrients like it) are essential — but not all forms are equal.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is inactive and takes up to two weeks to process through the liver.
Calcifediol, an activated form, works immediately, supporting energy, immunity, and mood.
💡 Vitamin D is fat-soluble, not water-soluble — meaning without good healthy fats, you can’t absorb it properly.
💡 And here’s the kicker — many of us (especially women) are still running old programs:
"Eat less, exercise more, push through the pain."
These outdated beliefs leave us undernourished, stressed, and fighting our own bodies.
➡️ We need good fats to feel satisfied, calm, and balanced.
➡️ We need enough nutrients to fuel real energy, not just willpower.
➡️ We need to stop fighting ourselves.
3. HOW — So, What Can You Do?
✅ Nourish, don’t punish — Focus on adding foods that give back to you:
Healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, grass-fed butter, nuts, seeds).
Nutrient-dense proteins and veggies.
The right form of vitamins, like activated Vitamin D.
✅ Drop the struggle — Instead of pushing through, listen to your body. Rest, pause, nourish, and care.
✅ Challenge the old story — Notice when you hear "I have to eat less and do more." Ask yourself:
"Is that true for me? Or is there a kinder way to care for my body?"
4. WHAT IF — Imagine a New Way?
🌿 What if you let go of struggle and chose ease and nourishment instead?
🌿 What if you listened to what your body needs — food, nutrients, rest, joy?
🌿 What if you felt energized, calm, and enough — without pushing or punishing yourself?
✨ What else could be possible if you treated yourself like someone worth caring for?
💬 I'd love to hear — What helps you feel nourished and energized? Or, is this a shift you're wanting to make?
